Kimberly Hale

Kimberly Hale grew up in Iowa and currently lives and works in New York City as a Teaching Artist, Actor, Director/Choreographer and an ASL-English interpreter. She has been a Teaching Artist and Choreographer for Actionplay for the last 5 years and has choreographed their original musicals OMG It’s Magic School, The Surface, A Questionable Case and Welcome To My World. She was the ASL Music Coach for the 2018 Public Theater/Shakespeare In The Park hit production of Twelfth Night by Shaina Taub (New York Times Critic’s Pick). Her recent acting work includes Hard Places for the Hunter MFA Festival and Roundabout/Reverb Theatre Arts Festival, Sylvia for New York Deaf Theatre and Screenshots and The Puddle Play for The On and Off Theatre Workshop. She is currently the Co-Artistic Director of the NYC DOE All IN(clusive) All-City High School Theatre Ensemble and her other teaching residencies includes work with Lexington School for the Deaf, NexGen Youth Theatre, Ocean Beach Youth Group, and NYC Children’s Theater.
