Kate Trammell
Kate Trammell is an arts administrator, educator, and autistic advocate based in New York City. She initially began her career as an actress in her home state of Texas. In addition to her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre with an emphasis on Acting & Directing from Sam Houston State University, Kate trained in improvisation at the ColdTowne Theater in Austin, Texas. While she was in Austin, she started working in public schools and private workshop settings as a teaching artist. After years of creating devised work with her students, she moved to New York in order to attend graduate school. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Theatre from New York University. In addition to working in various theatre spaces as a performer and educator, she works as an arts administrator in Manhattan.
